Most Frequently Asked Questions Regarding LoveStream
We launched our newest platform, LoveStream, virtual weddings by Bustld, just a few short weeks ago and we are already thrilled about the weddings we have gotten to take part in — you can watch one here! Love cannot and will not be cancelled!
As you can imagine we are all #teamlovestream over here at the Bustld office and although we are totally immersed in what we are doing, we realize you may not be. So, we are chatting today with our LoveStream guru, Madison, about some frequent questions she gets when chatting with couples.
Couple: “Do you send a colleague out to our wedding site to set up cameras and live stream my wedding?”
Madison: I get this question probably the most of any and it is a great one at that. This is so new to folks that it makes sense they would ask. We actually have the ability to handle everything here at our headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are pros at live streaming and know all the ins and outs for making sure your wedding live stream is flawless from start to finish. Plus, it doesn’t affect your guest count (and you don’t have to feed us!).
Couples: “What kind of video camera do I need to stream a wedding?”
Madison: That’s the best part! You can use any smartphone, tablet or laptop with a high-definition camera for the stream. We can allow up to 9 different cameras in the stream, pending which package you choose.
Couple: “Can guests use their own iPhones and tablets, and will the streaming capabilities be the same on different devices?”
Madison: Couples always ask this one on behalf of their guests which is very mindful and courteous of them to do. The answer to that is most definitely, heck yes. The device does not matter as long as you have internet!
Couple: “What if we already have a videographer? Can they use their camera to live stream our wedding?”
Madison: Yes! We can do this with our Basic package which includes a single camera stream. We aren’t able to switch camera angles, but they can do that on-site if they have the proper equipment.
Couple: “Are guests seen or heard during the wedding live stream?”
Madison: Oh, this is my absolute fave! The focus is totally on the couple during the ceremony and guests are not seen nor are they heard. They can watch in their pajamas if they want to. We can, however, move to the Zoom platform for a reception if couples do indeed want guests seen after the big moments are finished. Everything is totally customizable… Lots of options here at LoveStream.
Couple: “What if one of my guests cannot access the stream?”
Madison: Not everyone is tech-savvy and we get that, and we prepare ahead of time for that. We make it our promise to provide tech support throughout the entirety of the wedding. But the best part of LoveStream is how simple it is. If you can access a URL you can watch the stream! Guests just copy and paste the URL into their browser and voila! There is no need to create an account or anything of that sort.
