Will In-Person Weddings be Allowed in Fall 2020?

Can you believe it’s already the end of August? While many states are beginning to return to a new-normal, others have recently revamped gathering restrictions in response to rising Coronavirus cases.

We have seen a lot of people asking when weddings will return to normal or if in-person weddings will even be allowed this fall.

Unfortunately, we don’t have that answer. Things are changing so fast, that even if we did have an answer, it would probably be outdated by tomorrow. What we do have, though, are some helpful solutions on what to do if you can’t have your full guest list gather in-person to help you and your boo celebrate your love.

How to Know What is Legal

We’re not legal experts, but we are experts at finding answers. And you can be too! If you aren’t clear on whether or not your wedding can go on as planned, talk to your wedding planner or venue manager. They are likely keeping up with the latest regulations like nobody’s business (well, it is their business).

Other options include checking your local government website or calling their office, following your local lawmakers on social media for updates, or subscribing to COVID-related newsletters that come from trustworthy sources.

What to Do When Plans Change

They say the best defense is a good offense (that is what they say, right? Close enough). Basically, have a plan B, and a plan C. If plan A is to have all 120 people on your guest list gather inside your venue, maybe plan B is to have an outdoor option if gathering in groups indoors isn’t allowed. Plan C can be a micro-wedding with a wedding live stream option for guests who didn’t make the in-person cut.

Working on alternate options when planning a wedding during COVID is just a fact of being engaged right now. While back-up plans are always a good idea, it’s more important now than ever before.

Plan for a LoveStream

LoveStream is the best defense out there when it comes to ensuring weddings still go on. We’re the freaking *Googles defensive linemen* J.J. Watt of weddings.

Book your LoveStream before plans change.
