The Job
Position Status: Part-Time Hourly Employee
Location: Bustld Office in South End
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 10-16 hours (additional Friday evening and occasional weekday evenings available but not required). Weekend schedule will be based on events. Weekend Associate must be available Saturday and Sunday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at least three weekends per month.
Description: BUSTLD is a startup that is disrupting the event industry. Products include remote live streaming and a nationwide photo booth service. The Weekend Associate would be responsible for upholding all BUSTLD values, following the employee handbook and working toward achieving the goals outlined.
The responsibilities will be defined based on need but will include:
Client Management: Available to answer client questions via live chat or phone for client’s with events that weekend.
Shipping Prep: Prep for the next week’s shipments to include creating shipping labels, event setup with internal systems, prepping boxes, etc.
Day-Of Execution: Handle day-of execution of LoveStream products as scheduling allows.
Essential functions of the job include:
Able and willing to work multiple weekends (3-5) in a row
Proficient with email (Outlook) and Slack
Ability to learn and quickly become proficient with internal systems
Tech savvy
Self-starter devoted to both internal and company-wide improvement.
Willing to speak up and share thoughts that will improve the product, user/client experience, systems, etc.
Thrives in quick, every changing, high pressure environments with a sense of urgency.
Strong listening skills and ability to think on the fly.
Able to work efficiently both independently and with a team
Communication internally & externally in a professional & timely manner
Aims for overachievement, never settling for “good enough.”
Passionate about learning, creating connections and delivering the best product for the client.
Effective communication skills with quick responses and understanding of how to prioritize.
Creative and strategic on how to continually improve the process and product.
