Should You Be Worried About The COVID-19 Delta Variant Affecting Your Wedding?

The Delta variant has very quickly become a scary topic. While many of us once thought we were through the stress of the pandemic, we’re seeing that it’s gearing up once again. The question almost every engaged couple is asking is this: what does the spread of the Delta variant mean for our wedding? An important thing to remember is that while the Delta variant is proving to be widespread, there are precautions to take that might prevent your exposure in multiple ways.

If you still want to have a physical wedding but reduce the risk of spread, there are many different things you can do! Wearing masks, having hand sanitizer ready and seating people at least six feet apart and only in their family pods are three ways you can help reduce the spread. You might opt to cut the dance floor and speeches, pre-recording a choreographed dance or speeches from the bridal party instead.

If you’re hesitant to keep your entire guest list, go for a hybrid wedding ceremony and keep the preventative measures above. If you’re wondering what a hybrid ceremony is, it is a part in-person and part-virtual wedding ceremony. Couples use a wedding live stream to share their big day with friends and family who are unable to make it or they are no longer able to invite. And if you aren’t comfortable with a physical ceremony at all, go totally virtual with a fully live stream wedding!

Here at LoveStream, live streaming your wedding is what we do best! A live stream wedding ceremony gives you the option to share your big day with as many friends and family as you want without worrying about COVID-19 or any of its variants. Your guests can watch via a live video player, sign your virtual guest book and live chat on a website customized with photos of you and your partner. And do it all from the safety of their homes.

If COVID-19 has you worried that you might not be able to have the wedding you want, don’t let it! If we’ve learned one thing through this pandemic, it’s that love isn’t cancelled.
