Cute Wedding Favor Ideas for 2021
Are you getting married in 2021? It might be time to start thinking about wedding favors for your guests.
Wedding favors are a wonderful way to show your guests you appreciate their attendance and leave them with a little keepsake at the same time. Check out a few ways to amp up your wedding favor game below.
Themed Favor Boxes
If budget allows, consider putting together favor boxes for your guests to offer a little bit of a wow factor. Go a step further by creating themes in your box. For example, a box might include a coffee mug, a sample-size bag of coffee from a local roastery and a few teabags. Or you might include a candle, a bath bomb and some nice lotion.
Personalized Favors
We don’t mean personalized with your wedding hashtag or date on it. We mean personalized for each guest! Consider including a note with each favor offering a personal thank you to your guest for attending your special day.
Local Goods
Purchasing wedding favors is a great opportunity to support local businesses in your community. Look for local makers of things like luxury soaps and lotions, home décor or food products and place a bulk order for your wedding.
Favors for Non-Guests
Many people will be having smaller guest lists this year after the events of 2020. While traditionally, wedding favors are handed out at the event, it might be a nice gesture to send favors to guests who either can’t make it to your wedding or those who are only invited to a virtual portion if you are live streaming your wedding.
For these guests, you can choose to send something that is easy to mail, such as a Starbucks gift card so they can treat themselves to a drink. You might also choose a personalized favor such as a personalized wine glass or beer koozie.
Whatever type of wedding favors you hand out, make sure they are easy to transport for out-of-town guests!
